First grade created a class book after reading "One of Three".  Each child contributed to "I am One of 21 who____________________________________.

If You Give a _______________ a ______________ stories

First Grade has been reading several stories by Laura Numeroff.  The first story that we read was titled, " If You Give a Moose a Muffin".  After reading and listening to several of Laura's books  we decided to write our own class story.  Then after writing the class story we wrote our own.  This is our class story.

If You Give a Hamster a Hamburger


If you give a hamster a hamburger he will want some coca cola to go with it. You give him some coca cola and he may want to go to a pizza place. He goes to the pizza place and he sees an ad for a favorite movie titled, The Smurfs. That will make him want to go to the movies to see it. He will go to the movies and he decides he is hungry. He will get a movie kid's meal with candy, popcorn, and coke. Chances are... if the hamster drinks the coke then he will ask for a hamburger to go with it.

Creepy Crawly Stories

Now First grade would like to share their creepy crawly stories with you.  The first one is our class story.

     This is called Jake the Snake
.

One day there was a little snake.  His name was Jake.  He wondered off into the jungle and he got tangled up in a vine.  He fell and got tangled up in more vine.  He found a pair of scissors on the ground.  He picked them up and he cut the vines.  And then he was free.
